Hey everyone! Here's a little life-update for you. So, inevitably the day came where I had to move out of my little student house, and I've moved back home to live with my parents until I'm making enough money to head out on my own.
My childhood bedroom was really not set-up to accommodate my running a business, so I decided to leave a load of my 'stuff' packed away in boxes, and instead use most of my space as a 'studio'. I got myself the biggest desk IKEA does, and some beautiful trestle legs, and filled up the bookcase with a load of my stock.
I took a few photos as a kind of 'studio tour'/room tour so you guys can see where Annie Dornan-Smith Design will operating from in the coming however-many months. I've been relegated to a futon bed, but I've added a crap-tonne of cushions that I've accumulated over the years which has made it feel more like my room, and of course I've added nearly all of my plants (they're taking over) including Chlauss, my beloved Cheese plant.
It's still definitely a work-in-progress - I need to get something put up on those walls, and I want to get some more satisfying storage solutions for all my stock & packaging stuff.
What do you think?
