Usually at the start of a new year, I am already tripping over myself to leap into action and start planning and prepping for a new year - filling out that fresh new diary and pinning up calendars, spreadsheets and whatever else I’ve dreamed up to help myself achieve those goals this year. But the end of 2018 has felt a lot more reflective than years past. Perhaps It’s because I spent a lot of the Christmas period setting, monitoring and achieving goals - so I’m in the mindset. Maybe I’m just a real-life-adult now and am learning to look back and learn, instead blitzing into a new year without a second glance behind me.
But, it is what it is, and after penning a 2018 in Review post, I felt inspired to take a look at my best performing blog posts of 2018 - great for me to see what you are loving the most, and perfect for you to check out any gems you might have missed! I’m sensing a very Millenial, homes and interiors theme, but really, what else did I expect? Here’s the leaderboard!
Winner by a mile - a post on how I styled our new bedroom with a view to being as bright and airy as possible. Still the brightest room in the house, even in the depths of winter. It’s also budget-friendly because realistically, everything we do/buy has to be budget-friendly.
Sensing the theme yet? Affordable home decor + insta. Here’s my favourite tags for snooping on other’s gorgeous decor (and bigging up your own, too!)
Finally! I wrote something for all the folks who ask me where I get X or Y printed. I’m protective of my suppliers, but it also felt mean to ignore people, so I decided to at least share how, if not who.
Renting in/around London makes you an expert - I’m telling ya! I put together all my little tips for those venturing out into the fun filled world of paying someone else for a roof over your head. Lots of handy tips to help you love your abode and keep your deposit.
Nobody asked for this, but I wrote it anyway. This is my way of saying “If I can do it - anyone can” and also features a snazzy video of the process!
