Hi everyone! Today I wanted to talk you about having the confidence to just do it.
You might have seen my Instagram posts a while ago about a window I was drawing for Handmade Nottingham, a stockist I have here in Notts. It was a situation where they needed a last minute window decoration and I was free to do it. I had very little idea what I was doing, how to do it or how it would turn out, but I decided to go for it.
Reflecting on it, I thought it was a cool thing to post here on the blog. I was proud of myself for 'throwing myself in at the deep end'. I realise that this post sounds a little self congratulatory, but yes! Go me, for just going ahead and getting on with it. I think sometimes we are scared to do stuff because we don't know how to, or don't just have faith that the outcome will work.
But sometimes it's just necessary to throw yourself in, in order to get anything done. I included some pictures of my doodle, which I pretty much entirely improvised, which I think came out pretty good. Let me know your thoughts in the comments.
